Gemini IT Solutions was purely created to see if could put my skills and knowledge of what you see above into some kind of profitable business by building and designing websites using Site-Origin and WordPress, followed by helping people with their computer and IT issues. Due to long term disability health problems, I have been declared as not looking for employment, so the best way forward is for me to continue in what I tried to do with Gemini IT Solutions is to provide some kind of service in the way of computer/IT support and web design on a not for profit basis which will help with the running costs of my websites and hosting.
At present I maintain three websites which are hosted on my own VPS server, this doesn’t cost much to run except when I need certain plugins to keep things running smoothly. The biggest cost is the domains I use which on average is about £90-£100 a year these are .photography and .uk. I am also a photographer and yes I could pay a developer to maintain the sites I manage, but thats the whole fun part of learning about web development and why from the very beginning I wanted to not only build a website for myself, but to build websites for other people too
WordPress is something I have been using now from as far back as 2014, back then you only had the self hosted version through WordPress.org, yet as of now WordPress.com which allowed you to create a free blog, has jumped in by offering both free and paid blogs/websites.
